Responsibilities
- Develop and extend Cypress-based test suites across the web platform
- Analyze and troubleshoot test failures, manually reproducing issues to identify root causes
- Perform manual regression testing during release cycles
- Assist in automating REST API tests using Mocha and Chai frameworks
- Collaborate with the team to systematically improve test coverage over time
- Support ongoing enhancements to CI/CD integration using TeamCity
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in roles such as QA Automation Engineer, SDET, or QA Engineer
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript with an emphasis on writing clean, maintainable test code
- Hands-on experience with Cypress; prior exposure to Cucumber or BDD is beneficial
- Familiarity with REST API testing concepts and tools like Mocha and Chai
- Proficient in GitHub workflows including branching, pull requests, and code reviews
- Focus on understanding the underlying reasons for test failures, not just passing results
- Ability to work independently and clearly communicate obstacles
Nice to Have
- Experience with TeamCity or comparable CI/CD systems
- Background in testing REST or WebSocket APIs in financial or cryptocurrency platforms
- Knowledge of trading mechanisms including margin, funding, order types, and regional compliance
- Experience with mobile test automation frameworks
