Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end automated testing solutions for all applications.
- Use developer tools and test automation to streamline software release cycles and accelerate feature delivery.
- Promote and establish quality assurance and testing best practices across technical and business units.
- Execute assigned functional, regression, performance, and automation tests within scheduled timelines.
- Engage in project planning, requirements reviews, and design approval meetings.
- Produce key testing documents including test strategies, test plans, test cases, scripts, traceability matrices, and progress reports.
- Formulate test approaches by analyzing design documents and requirements in line with established standards.
- Define and gain alignment on key outcomes from development pipelines and test automation frameworks.
- Write and run test cases, document defects, and monitor defect resolution status.
- Develop and run test scripts using tools such as Azure, Selenium, Appium, and Junit.
- Support user acceptance testing led by business stakeholders or end users.
- Generate comprehensive reports on test results and quality indicators.
- Ensure automated tests are seamlessly integrated and consistently executed in CI/CD pipelines.
- Take part in code reviews with development, QA, and automation teams.
- Train and guide team members in automation framework usage and script development.
- Support performance testing activities using tools like LoadRunner and JMeter.
- Validate database structure and data accuracy through backend testing with SQL.
- Collaborate with the Project Management Office and development teams on SDLC improvements, providing gap analysis and recommendations.
