Responsibilities
- Creates, finalizes, and executes comprehensive test plans.
- Writes, updates, and manages automated test scripts.
- Establishes and promotes quality assurance benchmarks.
- Defines, collects, and monitors QA metrics including defect density and unresolved defect counts.
- Collaborates with project leads to determine scope, goals, and strategy for User Acceptance Testing in MMEP Phase 2.
- Applies Agile testing principles to meet project testing goals efficiently.
- Supports project managers in scheduling and organizing all UAT phases.
- Develops and delivers training on test processes, standards, and tools for project team members and business specialists as needed.
- Plans and manages UAT cycles within Agile sprints or as standalone phases: leads test case walkthroughs, joins sprint retrospectives and planning sessions, supervises testing activities, and reviews and approves UAT cycle outcomes.
- Provides weekly updates on UAT progress, test coverage, and critical quality issues to the SQA/Testing Manager and MMEP Project Manager.
- Partners with business specialists to ensure UAT cycles fully verify project requirements.
- Executes UAT test cases when necessary to confirm requirement validation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of four years or equivalent hands-on experience programming in C, C++, or Java
- Practical understanding of quality assurance methodologies
- Experience working with NT, UNIX, and Solaris operating environments
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Oregon's Medical Marijuana Program is beneficial but not mandatory
