Responsibilities
- Create and manage scalable backend services and RESTful APIs with Python and FastAPI.
- Develop and connect APIs that deliver statistical models, analytics, and machine learning capabilities to front end and external platforms.
- Work closely with data scientists and business teams to deploy computational models into production environments.
- Connect backend systems with Azure cloud technologies such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Databricks Delta Lake, and Azure DevOps.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and API protection mechanisms.
- Write clean, reusable, and modular code aligned with software engineering standards and best practices.
- Enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability for handling large-scale data processing tasks.
- Build automated test suites, including unit tests using pytest framework.
- Partner with front end developers to ensure smooth integration between React-based interfaces and backend systems.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and release workflows.
- Utilize MLflow and MLOps tools to manage model deployment, version control, monitoring, and lifecycle processes.
- Engage in code reviews, technical design sessions, and architectural planning discussions.
- Produce and update technical documentation, API specifications, and operational runbooks.
