IFS is hiring a Public Affairs Lead, Americas

Responsibilities

  • Track federal and state-level legislative and regulatory changes affecting Industrial AI, data governance, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, and technology policy
  • Evaluate proposed policies and assess their impact on business operations and long-term strategy
  • Deliver ongoing updates to leadership on policy shifts, potential risks, and strategic openings
  • Help maintain compliance by keeping the organization informed and responsive to regulatory demands
  • Develop and manage relationships with federal agencies, congressional staff, and state government entities
  • Lead or support interactions with policymakers and regulators on behalf of the organization
  • Facilitate executive-level dialogue with government officials to foster alignment and productive engagement
  • Represent organizational interests in trade groups and industry coalitions
  • Support U.S. coordination of relationships with the World Economic Forum and other global institutions
  • Establish connections with think tanks, non-governmental organizations, universities, and policy research centers
  • Advance organizational visibility as a thought leader through targeted partnerships and joint initiatives
  • Work with communications and marketing teams to craft policy stances, responses to public consultations, and advocacy content
  • Ensure executive communications on regulatory topics are clear, consistent, and credible
  • Engage national and Washington-based media to promote organizational viewpoints on technology policy
  • Inform internal teams about policy changes and their operational consequences
  • Assist in organizing policy-related events, roundtables, and briefings
  • Prepare leadership and teams for media interviews, congressional testimony, and public speaking
  • Manage coordination of messaging and logistics for high-visibility engagements with government and institutional partners
