Responsibilities
- Design and construct laboratory environments that adapt to the changing demands of engineering and manufacturing teams
- Enhance lab functionality and efficiency by integrating new technologies and streamlining workspace layouts
- Manage the complete inventory of laboratory equipment, including tools, chemicals, and disposable supplies
- Develop and enforce systems for lab organization and cleanliness, providing training to ensure compliance
- Maintain adherence to safety protocols and industry-specific regulatory standards in all workspaces
- Deliver direct technical assistance to engineers and technicians through prototype construction, station setup, and testing
- Employ additive and subtractive manufacturing techniques to produce precise and functional prototype components
- Operate and service a variety of machinery, power tools, and hand tools used in rapid prototyping
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects, organizing tasks to meet aggressive timelines and production goals
