Responsibilities
- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on protein conversion equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, responding effectively to emergency and unplanned equipment issues.
- Inspect, service, and maintain motors, gearboxes, belts, bearings, piping, and other critical operating components following established maintenance checklists.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and parts catalogs to determine proper repair methods and corrective actions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and electrical testing devices to complete repairs, fabrication, and installations.
- Work safely in demanding environments, including high heat or cold, elevated areas, and confined spaces, while meeting physical requirements such as lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to multitask and work quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to comprehend instructions and apply common sense
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be a team player
- Ability to work in warm temperatures
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
Nice to Have
- Technical school degree or certificate preferred
- Poultry or food manufacturing experience is a plus

- $1.00 shift differential for 3rd shift
