Responsibilities
- Review and interpret bid requirements to create customized responses that meet client needs and organizational strengths.
- Collaborate with sales, subject matter experts, and creative teams to gather input and develop tailored proposal responses.
- Schedule and lead discovery sessions with sales and subject matter experts to draft new content and refine existing content for specific customer sales strategies.
- Write and rewrite content to reflect the win strategy for each proposal, following established writing standards.
- Develop and refine sophisticated proposal responses and communications that are compliant, persuasive, and engaging.
- Edit final responses for spelling, grammar, style, formatting, consistency, voice, and clarity.
- Consolidate information from multiple sources to ensure complete, accurate, and cohesive bid responses.
- Communicate complex ideas in a clear, logical sequence understandable by diverse audiences.
- Partner with cross-departmental stakeholders to incorporate feedback and technical input into bid responses.
- Manage multiple proposals simultaneously, including kickoffs, deadlines, and stakeholder check-ins.
- Collaborate with the design team to create graphics and visuals for bid responses that can be templatized for enhanced presentation and impact.
- Maintain templates and content library for the broader Bid team, contributing new content as opportunities arise.
- Tailor writing to effectively reach the intended audience.
