Responsibilities
- Proactively track and analyze funding calls and tender announcements from space and defense agencies including ESA, EU, EDA, and national programs in Greece.
- Lead end-to-end preparation of full-scope project proposals, covering goals, work structure, timelines, resource planning, risk assessments, and regulatory documentation.
- Orchestrate contributions from internal departments and external collaborators to deliver high-quality submissions within deadlines.
- Formulate detailed financial plans encompassing personnel costs, equipment, travel, subcontractor fees, and capital investments.
- Monitor project expenditures and evaluate financial performance against approved budgets.
- Establish and manage collaborative consortia involving partners and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project objectives, funding limits, and schedules.
- Act as primary liaison with institutional bodies such as ESA, the European Commission, and national funding agencies.
- Oversee institutional project execution and coordinate across technical, finance, and commercial units internally.
- Lead procurement processes including requests for proposals and quotations, supplier evaluation, contract negotiations, and purchase order issuance.
- Manage supplier deliverables, invoice processing, and compliance reviews to uphold contractual and financial requirements.
- Ensure all proposals and active projects meet ECSS, PA/QA, and other relevant quality assurance frameworks.
- Prepare and submit key documentation including milestone reports, progress updates, deliverables, and final project closure materials.
- Support workforce planning and align technical teams to sustain project progress and meet deliverables.
- Participate in industry events, technical workshops, and project milestone meetings, involving regular travel.
