Responsibilities
- Evaluate project outputs to establish process needs
- Generate process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and equipment arrangements
- Verify design criteria with clients and involved parties
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality regulations
- Develop technical specifications for piping systems, insulation, instrumentation, and machinery
- Prepare procurement documents and verify material quantity estimates
- Coordinate with vendors on technical requirements, design details, and delivery schedules
- Collaborate with internal departments including Production, Maintenance, Electrical & Instrumentation, Automation, HSE, and Quality Assurance
- Develop and finalize project schedules and execution plans
- Suggest design optimizations and conduct quality checks
- Track project milestones and provide updates to stakeholders
- Supervise field commissioning activities such as mechanical readiness verification, punch listing, cold and hot commissioning, performance acceptance tests, and final project handover
