Turner & Townsend is hiring a Project Managers/Senior Project Managers

Responsibilities

  • Lead project management assignments with full accountability for delivering services from initiation through completion.
  • Ensure projects meet client expectations while adhering to scheduled timelines, budget constraints, and defined quality benchmarks.
  • Assist in defining success metrics for projects, covering schedule, cost, technical specifications, and performance outcomes.
  • Identify health, safety, environmental, and quality concerns and communicate them promptly to the relevant supervisor.
  • Develop and implement robust project governance frameworks, processes, and systems for consistent application across project phases.
  • Carry out comprehensive project planning, including the creation of detailed project schedules.
  • Apply in-depth understanding of construction sector practices, including procurement methods, value management principles, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Oversee change management procedures and provide oversight and guidance on financial aspects of the project.
  • Facilitate clear communication between project teams and clients through regular meetings and written updates.
  • Produce formal progress reports and other required project documentation.
  • Support knowledge sharing by ensuring project insights and key data are recorded in the organization’s internal knowledge system.
  • Manage financial processes including timely invoicing and use of Financial Management Systems (FMS) to track project financial health.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance internal workflows and forwarding recommendations to management.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and external consultants throughout all project stages.
  • Adhere to SOX control requirements where applicable to the position.
  • Comply with organizational standards under the Business Management Systems, including those related to Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management.
