Responsibilities
- Lead project management assignments with full accountability for delivering services from initiation through completion.
- Ensure projects meet client expectations while adhering to scheduled timelines, budget constraints, and defined quality benchmarks.
- Assist in defining success metrics for projects, covering schedule, cost, technical specifications, and performance outcomes.
- Identify health, safety, environmental, and quality concerns and communicate them promptly to the relevant supervisor.
- Develop and implement robust project governance frameworks, processes, and systems for consistent application across project phases.
- Carry out comprehensive project planning, including the creation of detailed project schedules.
- Apply in-depth understanding of construction sector practices, including procurement methods, value management principles, and cost optimization strategies.
- Oversee change management procedures and provide oversight and guidance on financial aspects of the project.
- Facilitate clear communication between project teams and clients through regular meetings and written updates.
- Produce formal progress reports and other required project documentation.
- Support knowledge sharing by ensuring project insights and key data are recorded in the organization’s internal knowledge system.
- Manage financial processes including timely invoicing and use of Financial Management Systems (FMS) to track project financial health.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance internal workflows and forwarding recommendations to management.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and external consultants throughout all project stages.
- Adhere to SOX control requirements where applicable to the position.
- Comply with organizational standards under the Business Management Systems, including those related to Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management.
