AECOM is hiring a Project Manager/Project Director – Major Projects and Programs

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with operations leadership and business line stakeholders to establish goals, performance indicators, protocols, and targets for significant environmental initiatives across Canada.
  • Offer strategic guidance in the oversight and direction of the Environmental business sector.
  • Design and execute project delivery strategies that enhance safety, quality, client satisfaction, team growth, profitability, and financial performance.
  • Guide project teams by providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure high performance and successful outcomes.
  • Supervise financial tracking systems to evaluate project results, reduce risks, and uncover opportunities for advancement.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to meet financial and operational objectives.
  • Lead the execution of large-scale environmental and multidisciplinary projects, ensuring adherence to client requirements, contractual terms, and budget constraints.
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to pursuit strategies and engaging directly in critical proposals and resolution of complex project challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and represent the business at industry and public forums.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational and business-specific policies, including health and safety, ethical conduct, and quality assurance.
  • Track and assess project performance data to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.
  • Oversee project resourcing, workload distribution, and technical delivery to meet client and company benchmarks.
  • Promote professional growth, mentorship, and employee retention to cultivate a high-achieving team.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement business strategies and improve regional outcomes.
