Responsibilities
- Workload management. Every incoming task, whether it's a logo, a landing page, or an illustration, needs to land with the designer best suited for it. You will make sure nobody is underworked or drowning, and that we always hit our promised 24-hour delivery.
- Quality control. You are the last set of eyes before anything reaches a client. You will check every finished task against the brief, send back what needs work, and act as the final approver on your team's output.
- People management. Your team is your responsibility. That includes leave requests, internal and external communication, problem resolution, and making sure our SOPs are followed, not just filed away.
- Performance reviews. With support from the management team, you will run monthly and annual performance reviews for everyone on your team.
- Training. You will lead one-on-one and group training on everything from onboarding to customer communication to time management, helping your team grow as they go.
- Client relationships. Our designers communicate with clients directly every day. When things get complex, you step in by chat, email, or video call to keep the relationship and the project on track.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role. This is non-negotiable.

- Experience with team tools like Slack, Asana, and Notion.
- Working knowledge of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini to work smarter and faster.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines without dropping anything.
- A confident, direct communicator who can deliver hard feedback without damaging the relationship.
