Responsibilities
- Exhibit full command of all Project Engineer duties and technical expectations.
- Act as a subject matter expert, guiding teams on design limitations, engineering standards, and project-specific challenges.
- Lead the development of civil and site designs, including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater systems.
- Supervise quality assurance and quality control processes, delivering polished design packages for final approval.
- Guide the permitting process by preparing submissions and coordinating with regulatory agencies.
- Develop project timelines, deliverables, and key milestones to align with client and regulatory demands.
- Oversee project scope, budget, and schedule, tracking progress toward defined goals.
- Conduct weekly staffing evaluations and assign tasks to engineering staff and technicians.
- Participate in public meetings, hearings, and coordination sessions as required.
- Manage annual revenue of $500,000 to over $1 million across assigned projects.
- Secure a minimum of $250,000 in annual revenue through project acquisition.
- Handle financial aspects such as revenue tracking, invoicing, billing, and cost monitoring.
- Work with leadership to manage accounts receivable and resolve billing concerns.
- Serve as the main client contact, maintaining strong relationships and managing expectations.
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external partners to ensure project alignment.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in collaboration with senior staff.
- Represent the company professionally through client engagements and community involvement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
