Highbridge Human Capital is hiring a Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of project delivery from pre-construction through completion.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, work plans, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards, technical specifications, and contractual obligations.
  • Manage heavy civil construction activities including: road building, site preparation, earthworks, excavation, grading, drainage systems, bridges and culverts, utility installation.
  • Oversee equipment utilization and productivity.
  • Coordinate infrastructure and operational support projects within mining environments.
  • Ensure compliance with operational requirements for remote and industrial sites.
  • Work closely with site superintendents and operations teams to minimize disruptions to production.
  • Promote a strong safety culture aligned with: WorkSafeBC regulations, OH&S standards, Health Safety and Reclamation code for mines in British Columbia, Mines Act, environmental legislation.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety meetings, and incident investigations.
  • Ensure environmental protection measures are implemented and maintained.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking.
  • Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and change orders.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, Indigenous communities, regulators, and stakeholders.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates.
  • Support business development activities, tender submissions, and project proposals.

Requirements

  • Experienced Project Manager
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and closing projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with provincial regulations, environmental standards, and client requirements.
  • Strong leadership in heavy civil operations, stakeholder coordination, contract administration, safety management, and field execution in remote and challenging environments.
