AECOM is hiring a Project Engineer, Mechanical

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement mechanical systems for buildings, covering air conditioning, ventilation, fire safety, plumbing, water distribution, and wastewater removal
  • Perform in-depth technical evaluations and precise calculations to meet engineering and project needs
  • Produce, examine, and coordinate mechanical design plans while following applicable building codes and engineering regulations
  • Oversee several projects at once, ensuring high-quality outputs and on-time delivery
  • Work with BIM coordinators to guarantee design deliverables meet specified quality and technical criteria
  • Offer technical expertise during all project stages, including design, setup, testing, and commissioning
  • Generate and keep updated technical records, operation manuals, and project documentation
  • Communicate clearly with clients, partners, and their representatives to define needs and deliver engineering advice
  • Build and sustain productive connections with engineering consultants and equipment vendors
  • Assist in drafting technical proposals and evaluating project feasibility
  • Uphold compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all project operations
  • Assist project leadership with timely preparation and submission of required documents and regulatory filings
