Zeeco is hiring a Project Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Verify that selected equipment matches the specifications quoted and agreed upon with the customer.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as drafting and procurement to initiate tasks required for project deliverables including drawings, data packages, and material lists.
  • Work with the drafting lead to supply updated documentation needed for customer review or approval.
  • Use project data and design documents to solicit external manufacturing services, manage the request for quote process, negotiate terms, and select the optimal fabrication partner.
  • Repeat the sourcing and selection process for control system components.
  • Partner with supply chain personnel to identify and coordinate customer-furnished materials provided to vendors for integration.
  • Work with procurement to identify, source, and purchase required parts, materials, and instruments for delivery to vendors or directly to the customer.
  • Oversee all assigned responsibilities and monitor progress relative to the project timeline to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Manage all internal and external communications related to project execution, including interactions with clients, end users, consultants, suppliers, and other involved parties.
  • Coordinate with administrative staff to distribute project-related information internally and to external stakeholders.
  • Maintain regular contact with engineering specialists to stay informed on pricing trends, manufacturing capacity, labor availability, and evolving customer needs.
  • Collaborate with finance teams on invoicing schedules and support timely collection of payments.
  • Provide consistent updates to internal teams and customer representatives throughout the project lifecycle, including status reports, timeline evaluations, and risk assessments.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as needed or directed.
