AECOM is hiring a Project Director - Controls Analytics

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to programme leaders, sponsors, and senior client representatives.
  • Guide long-term vision for controls analytics, project management performance, and data-enabled decisions.
  • Convert intricate data and controls findings into clear, executive-level recommendations.
  • Lead the design and management of controls analytics delivery across projects, programmes, and portfolios.
  • Establish operational models, reporting systems, and governance arrangements for controls functions.
  • Direct and validate the work of delivery teams including data engineers, analysts, and controls experts.
  • Ensure implemented solutions meet requirements, can scale, and support client objectives.
  • Develop and deploy integrated analytics approaches covering cost, schedule, risk, change, and performance.
  • Oversee the creation of executive dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators.
  • Promote the use of insight-based performance tracking and early intervention strategies.
  • Assist clients in advancing controls maturity, data integrity, and oversight practices.
  • Take a key role in bid development, proposals, and client acquisition efforts.
  • Formulate and communicate persuasive analytics offerings that respond to market demands.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities within current client relationships.
  • Build external networks to strengthen market visibility and reputation.
  • Lead, coach, and grow high-performing teams with diverse technical backgrounds.
  • Encourage a consulting culture focused on delivering value beyond baseline deliverables.
  • Contribute to the evolution of methodologies, digital tools, and reusable components.
  • Support talent acquisition, leadership pipelines, and capability development in line with strategic goals.
  • Integrate risk, contingency, and scenario analysis into controls frameworks.
  • Guide the creation of change analytics and forecasting models to inform planning and decisions.
  • Help clients transition from historical reporting to predictive, forward-looking insights
