AECOM is hiring a Project Coordinator Transit & Rail

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining strong organizational skills.
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to address requests for information, claims, payment processing, disputes, and project updates.
  • Control and maintain accurate project records, ensuring all closeout documentation is properly filed.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and engage with stakeholders to safeguard client objectives.
  • Work from field offices when necessary to support project timelines and deliverables.
  • Lead project management activities such as scope development, scheduling, budget oversight, document review, meeting coordination, risk assessment updates, bid preparation, construction monitoring, contract administration, and submittal evaluation.
  • Deliver engineering assistance to internal departments related to rail operations and infrastructure.
  • Produce design drawings and procurement packages for tendering processes.
  • Prepare cost estimates for project planning and budgeting.
  • Oversee the decommissioning and removal of railway track systems.
  • Conduct on-site inspections of track and civil infrastructure to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Provide on-call engineering support, including immediate response during emergencies at project locations.
  • Coordinate railway flagging operations to ensure safe worksite conditions.
  • Review construction activities in the field to verify alignment with design plans, specifications, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.
