Responsibilities
- Lead planning, reporting, performance tracking, cost control, forecasting, and risk management activities for the assigned project.
- Create and execute a project controls strategy aligned with project goals and corporate standards.
- Ensure seamless coordination between scheduling, cost management, productivity analysis, and risk oversight.
- Set up governance frameworks, reporting protocols, and performance tracking systems for project controls.
- Oversee the creation, upkeep, and monitoring of a unified project schedule.
- Ensure reliable progress measurement and performance reporting across all project areas.
- Lead the deployment and ongoing use of Perform for tracking productivity and resources.
- Track project performance relative to approved baselines and recommend corrective actions when needed.
- Coordinate recovery planning and schedule adjustments as necessary.
- Manage cost control processes including budget tracking, forecasting, trend evaluation, and cost reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly Cost-to-Complete (C2C3) updates and projections.
- Monitor financial performance and highlight variances and risks early.
- Assist project leadership in assessing financial impacts of changes, claims, and commercial uncertainties.
- Lead risk management activities from project handover to final completion.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of the corporate Risk Management Tool.
- Incorporate project risks and opportunities into forecasts and monthly reports.
- Lead risk review sessions and verify that mitigation actions are in place and tracked.
- Encourage proactive risk identification and management across all project teams.
- Establish robust processes for gathering, validating, analyzing, and visualizing project data.
- Design dashboards and performance reports to support informed decision-making.
- Deliver clear, accurate, and concise reports on project status, forecasts, risks, and opportunities.
- Present performance updates to project leadership, senior management, and client representatives.
- Serve as the main point of contact for project controls within the project management team.
- Represent the company in all client-facing discussions and reporting related to project controls.
- Work closely with Engineering, Construction, Commercial, Procurement, Finance, and HSE teams to align objectives and reporting practices.
