Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and evaluate detailed resource-driven project timelines using Primavera P6 within major capital programs and large-scale projects.
- Lead the creation of project schedules, set performance baselines, and track progress in accordance with project controls and Earned Value Management principles.
- Establish and manage Work Breakdown Structures, activity coding frameworks, progress tracking systems, and credit rules to ensure reliable performance measurement.
- Examine contractor-submitted schedules, resource allocations, logic flows, critical path elements, and schedule maturity to verify compliance with project standards.
- Conduct in-depth schedule analysis, trend evaluation, scenario modeling, and risk assessments to detect delays and recommend corrective measures.
- Verify the accuracy of contractor-reported physical progress, installed quantities, and earned value data against approved baselines and reporting protocols.
- Assess key performance metrics such as Schedule Performance Index, Labor Productivity Index, productivity trends, and forecast curves to guide decision-making and recovery planning.
- Facilitate the integration of scheduling data with cost, procurement, and reporting systems to ensure cohesive project controls.
- Produce high-level schedule summaries, dashboards, written analyses, and forward-looking reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Work closely with project teams, engineering-procurement-construction contractors, and cross-functional groups to align scheduling, forecasting, and performance tracking practices.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to scheduling and controls staff while promoting best practices and process improvements.
- Assist in evaluating schedule claims, delay impacts, and schedule-related disputes when needed.

- Overtime work may be required occasionally to ensure certain deliverables are completed on time.
- Weekend work is rare but occasionally may be necessary.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

- Ability to adjust focus, especially due to concentration on a computer screen.
- Must communicate frequently with other departments and employees both verbally and in writing.
- May need to lift and carry up to 15 pounds and/or position the body to reach items on the floor/below knee level or overhead.
