Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact between the company and the government client, regularly updating the COR and senior leadership on program performance and delivery progress.
- Lead the initiation and planning of all active task orders, converting business and technical needs into implementation plans with defined timelines and milestones.
- Allocate contractor resources across task orders based on skills and availability, while forecasting labor costs and monitoring budget usage.
- Supervise daily operations and ensure deliverable quality, confirming all submissions meet contract terms and client expectations before delivery.
- Identify, evaluate, and reduce program risks; keep a risk log and escalate unresolved issues with suggested solutions.
- Create and deliver program status updates and PMR materials; develop and maintain task proposals, policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of program management experience on federal IT contracts.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Experience in defining requirements and preparing task proposals, including budget and schedule development.
- Experience in developing policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Familiarity with project management tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience briefing senior government executives.
- Working knowledge of IT and cybersecurity capabilities.
- Experience managing BPA or IDIQ task order vehicles in a federal environment.
- Proficiency with project management platforms such as Microsoft Project or Jira.
- Must be eligible to obtain and complete a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Nice to Have
- PMP certification, or at least 10 years of demonstrated program management experience in lieu of certification.
