Take ownership of inventory planning processes within a fast-evolving supply chain environment. You will be responsible for defining optimal stock levels, ensuring product availability while minimizing excess inventory. Your work will directly influence operational efficiency and financial performance across the network.
What You'll Do
- Determine appropriate inventory targets using established planning methodologies to balance service levels and cost efficiency.
- Work closely with analytics and development teams to refine forecasting and replenishment algorithms.
- Partner with logistics to identify and correct supply chain deviations, reducing lost sales and inefficiencies.
- Validate master data integrity and algorithmic outputs, establishing standard values and acceptable variance thresholds.
- Support planning cycles by contributing to departmental and cross-functional operational planning activities.
Requirements
- Familiarity with inventory planning techniques such as min-max, safety stock, buffer stock, and demand-driven methods, including their practical applications and limitations.
- Proven experience managing inventory for a large SKU pool, typically exceeding 2,000 items.
- Ability to analyze process deviations, resolve operational issues independently, or escalate when necessary.
- Understanding of continuous improvement frameworks like Lean, Theory of Constraints, and Six Sigma principles.
- Advanced Excel skills, including LookUp functions, PivotTables, and Power Query for data transformation and analysis.
- Fluent in Russian; working proficiency in English (B1 or higher), particularly in reading and writing, with support from translation tools as needed.
- Completed university degree, preferably in mathematics, economics, logistics, or a related quantitative field.
