Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Line Leaders and Operators while managing operator conduct and accountability.
- Lead daily shopfloor discussions focused on reducing downtime, minimizing scrap, increasing output, and addressing safety concerns.
- Evaluate performance and track progress of Line Leaders and Operators through structured reviews.
- Oversee the usage of direct and indirect materials, production output levels, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor real-time production status against current work-in-progress (WIP) to ensure alignment.
- Communicate essential operational updates to support ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Enhance daily planning execution by operators and Line Leaders to meet daily targets and weekly delivery commitments.
- Participate in daily operations meetings, propose long-term fixes for quality and productivity issues, and reduce held inventory.
- Generate regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly) on labor productivity, OEE, and scrap rates during new product ramp-up phases.
- Drive process enhancements with a focus on lowering scrap and increasing labor efficiency.
- Introduce new process steps to improve line balancing and reduce cycle time.
- Build and sustain effective relationships with internal teams and external partners to support business continuity and performance.
- Determine and allocate technical capabilities, staffing needs, and systems necessary for project delivery, including external support when needed.
- Plan and evaluate technical and soft skills development to support continuous team growth.
