Responsibilities
- Ensure product quality and output efficiency across the production line.
- Oversee all hourly team members assigned to the production line.
- Maintain a safe work environment and support employee engagement.
- Verify all finished products meet established quality standards before release.
- Complete pre-operation documentation and confirm line cleanliness and sanitation prior to startup.
- Ensure staffing levels meet production demands.
- Manage personnel documentation for all line employees.
- Performance is evaluated by the General Foreman: Fabrication, based on area productivity and supervision effectiveness.
- Comply with all applicable union rules concerning hourly staff.
- Participate in and contribute to daily supervisor meetings in the fabrication area.
- Conduct monthly team meetings for hourly employees on the line.
- Oversee follow-up training for all personnel on the production line.
- Manage disciplinary actions for line employees, including verbal warnings up to terminations.
