Responsibilities
- Maintains a balanced focus on safety, quality, output, cost control, and team morale, driving ongoing improvements across all operational areas.
- Leads, manages, and directly supervises team members, fostering motivation and a professional atmosphere to support strong performance and retention.
- Verifies adherence to established safety and quality standards across all processes.
- Promotes a structured, safe work environment using active Work Process Optimization within a Toyota Production System framework.
- Tracks and documents daily key performance indicators, keeping reports current and providing shift-end summaries.
- Supports employee growth and satisfaction through coaching, development, and timely resolution of workplace concerns.
- Conducts performance evaluations and delivers immediate, constructive feedback.
- Coordinates regularly with preceding departments to align production flow and meet customer delivery timelines.
- Oversees production support functions, including accurate tracking of scrap and inventory, material logistics, cross-training, and submitting maintenance needs.
