Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date expertise in designated products, including features, configurations, integrations, and limitations
- Develop and sustain comprehensive understanding of core product workflows and technical boundaries
- Stay informed on product development timelines, release schedules, and interdependencies
- Convert technical product details into clear, actionable guidance for go-to-market and customer-facing teams
- Detect widespread customer confusion, usability challenges, and configuration errors
- Serve as a primary contact for complex product inquiries requiring cross-team coordination
- Lead efforts in gathering and analyzing functional competitive data on features and workflows
- Assess competitor offerings in terms of functionality, user processes, tradeoffs, and maturity levels
- Respond to internal requests for competitive insights using standardized, scalable methods
- Ensure competitive intelligence remains current as market and product landscapes shift
- Develop deep understanding of customer requirements, purchasing drivers, regulatory factors, and market positioning within assigned areas
- Monitor industry trends, compliance needs, and evolving customer demands in relevant segments or regions
- Analyze how customers assess, adopt, and realize value from products over time
- Contribute market-informed perspectives to go-to-market strategies, training, and customer lifecycle programs
- Advocate for customer and market viewpoints in cross-functional planning discussions
- Act as a subject matter expert by leading presentations and participating in panels at industry events
- Drive product-led marketing initiatives using behavioral data, in-app insights, and customer feedback tools
- Analyze product usage and adoption patterns to inform go-to-market strategy through shared reporting systems
- Identify barriers to activation and recurring patterns of customer success
- Collaborate with product marketing and marketing teams on data-driven campaigns
- Support enablement, product marketing, and knowledge teams with product demonstrations and messaging
- Supply in-depth product knowledge to shape training programs, sales approaches, and GTM planning
- Work with Product Marketing and Enablement to craft accurate, accessible product narratives for internal use
- Assist in creating product demonstrations, walkthroughs, and technical documentation for GTM use
- Ensure go-to-market collateral accurately reflects current product capabilities, roadmap direction, and competitive context
