Responsibilities
- Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to understand real-world operational challenges and translate them into product opportunities.
- Balance customer value, technical feasibility, and delivery impact when shaping solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define and deliver solutions across onboard systems, cloud infrastructure, and integrations.
- Own and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Break down complex initiatives into clear, structured deliverables for cross-functional teams.
- Define detailed product specifications, including expected behaviours and outcomes
- Continuously gather and incorporate user feedback to improve product performance and usability.
- Review delivered features to ensure they meet expectations in quality, reliability and user experience.
- Maintain clear product documentation, including specifications, internal guides, and release notes.
- Communicate roadmap, priorities, and progress clearly across the organisation and the customers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, working on complex products or systems.
- Experience in B2B products with operational/mission-critical workflows.
- Strong experience working directly with customers (e.g. demos, requirement gathering, handling feedback).
- Experience working on products with ambiguity or evolving requirements.
- Strong ability to work effectively across different teams, fostering strong collaboration and maintaining alignment between stakeholders, engineering, and business functions.
- Experience working in deep-tech, data-intensive, or AI model-driven environments.
- An educational background in engineering, computer science, data analysis, or a related field.
- Can translate complex problems into clear and structured requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with product or project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience working with monitoring, data quality, or system-performance platforms.
- Experience in the maritime or shipping industry
- Experience working on operational or optimization-focused products
- Familiarity with ML/AI product lifecycle.
