Responsibilities
- Lead the functional enhancement of our ERP system, Odoo, with a strong emphasis on financial processes.
- Oversee the functional development of Odoo, focusing on financial processes and related end-to-end chains, including Order-to-Cash, Purchase-to-Pay, and other key accounting processes.
- Facilitate cross-functional teamwork with Finance, IT, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment on objectives, scope, and priorities.
- Manage the backlog, convert business needs into actionable tasks, set acceptance criteria, and ensure thorough documentation.
- Prioritize features, tasks, and bugs, and continuously refine the issue board with a clear structure.
- Guide roadmap initiatives from inception through execution.
- Monitor scope, timeline, and budget, and maintain transparent communication on status, risks, and decisions.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of practical experience with Odoo.
- Advanced expertise in Accounting & Finance within an ERP environment, including closing, reporting, controls, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and traditional approaches (e.g., waterfall, classic project management), applying both effectively based on context.
- Assertive and analytical, with a structured and pragmatic approach to work.
- Business background or a degree in STEM / Business (or equivalent qualification).
- Excellent written and verbal English skills (mandatory).
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in French is beneficial.
- Knowledge of German is advantageous.
