Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers to develop, maintain, and communicate a clear and compelling product roadmap aligned with strategic business objectives
- Create and prioritize a healthy, well-organized product backlog, ensuring all features and user stories are clearly defined with acceptance criteria
- Write comprehensive user stories and conduct detailed requirements analysis to translate complex business needs into actionable development tasks
- Define sprint goals and collaborate with development teams during planning activities to ensure clarity and alignment on deliverables
- Conduct user journey mapping and usability testing to understand customer needs and validate product decisions with data-driven insights
- Formally accept completed work and ensure it meets quality standards and acceptance criteria before release
- Manage cross-team dependencies and communicate build progress, forecasted delivery timelines, and product performance to stakeholders
- Support product discovery activities through elaboration of features from the roadmap, conducting ROI analysis to determine approval for build
- Ensure Non-Functional Requirements are created, maintained, and tested against throughout the product lifecycle
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies and scaled agile events, promoting agile values and driving continuous improvement through inspect and adapt cycles
- Leverage business systems knowledge, industry requirements, and practical implications to support informed product priorities
- Analyze product performance metrics and KPIs to recommend data-driven solutions and approaches to the Product Manager
- Own the product vision and roadmap for fraud detection and prevention capabilities
- Translate business, risk, and regulatory requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on fraud risk, customer impact, and ROI
- Collaborate with data science teams on fraud models, rules engines, and machine-learning initiatives
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver real-time and batch fraud solutions
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, AML, and Operations teams to ensure regulatory alignment
- Define and monitor KPIs such as fraud loss reduction, false positives, approval rates, and customer friction
- Support model lifecycle management (feature changes, monitoring, retraining, explainability)
- Ensure solutions comply with regulatory and data privacy requirements (e.g., PSD2, GDPR, PCI DSS)

- Experience in a FinTech environment
- Ability to define and prioritize features that reduce financial crime, improve customer trust, and meet regulatory requirements
- Experience working with engineering, data science, risk, and compliance teams
- Experience delivering scalable, real-time fraud solutions

- Experience with agile methodologies and ceremonies
- Ability to translate business, risk, and regulatory requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs
- Knowledge of regulatory and data privacy requirements such as PSD2, GDPR, PCI DSS
