About the Role
You will own product performance end-to-end — not just features or roadmaps, but outcomes. This is the first dedicated Product role in the company. You will define product strategy and execution, evolving core product flows including acquisition, onboarding, engagement, monetization, and retention.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve core product flows (acquisition, onboarding, engagement, monetization, retention)
- Identify friction points and conversion leaks across the entire user journey
- Design and run structured experiments that directly impact revenue and engagement metrics
- Work closely with engineering, data, and design to ship scalable solutions
- Define what should be built, why it matters, and how success is measured
- You don’t just identify problems, you trace them to root cause
- You don’t just propose ideas, you turn them into structured, executable specs
- You don’t just ship features, you measure impact and iterate based on data
Requirements
- Owned a product (not just contributed to it) for 3–5+ years
- Built and scaled products from scratch A–Z
- Worked on high-scale consumer platforms (subscriptions, marketplaces, social, engagement, gaming, etc.)
- Made decisions that had real impact on revenue, retention, or growth
- Stayed long enough in companies to actually build depth, not just move between short roles
- Strongly data-driven decision maker and decisions are grounded in metrics, not instincts
- Comfortable working with analytics, experimentation, and product tracking systems
- Able to translate abstract ideas into structured product requirements
- Technically literate enough to have meaningful conversations about APIs, systems, and architecture
- Comfortable discussing trade-offs with engineers and leadership
- Think in systems, not features
- Understand monetization deeply and have worked with it hands-on
- Understand gamification mechanics and how they influence engagement and revenue
- Don’t just execute — you challenge assumptions and improve direction
- Care about outcomes above output
- Don’t wait for direction, you create clarity
- Don’t accept vague ideas, you structure them
- Don’t ship for the sake of shipping, you ship to move metrics
