About the Role
Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for a quantitative data platform, working closely with engineering, data science, and client-facing teams to deliver actionable insights to institutional clients.
Responsibilities
- Define product vision and roadmap for a data-intensive analytics platform
- Collaborate with engineers to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Gather and prioritize user feedback from portfolio managers and analysts
- Conduct market research to identify competitive advantages and opportunities
- Manage timelines and deliverables across cross-functional teams
- Develop metrics to measure product performance and user engagement
- Work with data scientists to integrate new datasets into the platform
- Ensure platform scalability and reliability under heavy usage
- Communicate product updates to internal stakeholders and clients
- Identify gaps in current offerings and propose innovative solutions
- Coordinate beta testing with select clients for new features
- Maintain detailed documentation for product features and workflows
- Support sales efforts with product demonstrations and technical details
- Monitor industry trends in fintech and alternative data
- Balance short-term deliverables with long-term strategic goals
- Optimize user experience based on usability testing and feedback
- Drive adoption through training materials and onboarding resources
- Evaluate third-party tools and integrations for potential use
- Ensure compliance with data licensing and usage policies
- Facilitate sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions
- Translate complex quantitative concepts into clear product requirements
- Partner with UX designers to refine interface layouts
