About the Role
The Product Manager will own the customer feedback and discovery function, ensuring that user insights directly influence product strategy and development decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy for gathering and applying customer feedback across product lifecycles
- Identify key user pain points through qualitative and quantitative research
- Collaborate with UX researchers to design discovery-focused studies
- Translate insights into actionable product requirements
- Work closely with engineering teams to prioritize feedback-driven features
- Develop roadmaps that align user needs with business goals
- Monitor customer sentiment across platforms and support channels
- Synthesize data from surveys, interviews, and usage analytics
- Facilitate workshops to share findings with cross-functional teams
- Define success metrics for feedback-informed product changes
- Manage end-to-end processes for insight collection and implementation
- Ensure feedback loops are integrated into agile development cycles
- Partner with customer support to identify recurring issues
- Advocate for user needs in product planning discussions
- Track emerging trends in customer behavior and expectations
- Maintain a centralized repository of user insights
- Coordinate beta testing programs to validate new concepts
- Present findings to stakeholders and leadership teams
- Evaluate third-party tools for feedback management
- Improve methods for capturing in-product user behavior
- Balance short-term fixes with long-term experience improvements
- Drive alignment between product, marketing, and customer success
- Use data to challenge assumptions in product design
- Document customer journey insights to inform future iterations
- Ensure ethical handling of user data in all research activities
