Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of new GPU product introductions, including evaluation standards, qualification schedules, and market launch strategies
- Collaborate with datacenter operations to establish infrastructure needs for next-generation GPUs, covering power systems, cooling methods, and rack design
- Partner with engineering teams to assess hardware performance across training efficiency, inference response times, memory capacity, and network interconnects
- Manage relationships with GPU suppliers, including technical evaluations, supply negotiations, and early access coordination
- Specify system configurations ranging from single-GPU setups to large-scale cluster deployments
- Evaluate customer workload patterns to recommend appropriate GPU types based on use case and performance needs
- Develop financial models for new hardware launches, including capital investment, depreciation, utilization projections, and pricing benchmarks
- Produce technical guides and performance benchmarks to support customer decision-making
- Track supply availability and logistics challenges to balance customer demand with profitability
- Work with networking specialists to ensure data transfer infrastructure keeps pace with GPU capabilities and distributed computing requirements
