Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Management to conduct discovery activities such as customer interviews, journey mapping, and competitive analysis to define user needs and success criteria.
- Work alongside Product and Engineering teams to turn requirements into user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI designs, and interactive prototypes that align user needs with technical and business constraints.
- Develop design assets at all levels of fidelity—from initial concepts to final specifications—while adhering to established design system principles and accessibility standards under WCAG guidelines.
- Validate design choices through user research, usability testing, and iterative feedback to minimize revisions and ensure balanced outcomes across user value, technical feasibility, and business goals.
- Maintain a consistent and unified user experience across the product by evaluating development output and ensuring design continuity throughout the software suite.
- Clearly articulate the reasoning behind design decisions to immediate teammates and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support the growth of the design practice by contributing to team processes, design libraries, and critique sessions.
