About the Role
Lead the product design function by defining vision, mentoring designers, and driving user research and interface innovation across the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the end-to-end design strategy for digital products
- Mentor and manage a team of product designers through regular feedback and career development
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to align design with technical and business objectives
- Conduct and oversee user research to inform product decisions
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new features
- Establish and maintain design systems and style guidelines
- Lead usability testing and interpret findings to refine product experiences
- Advocate for user needs across departments and leadership levels
- Coordinate design sprints and ideation workshops
- Ensure accessibility and inclusive design practices are implemented
- Translate complex user requirements into intuitive interface solutions
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and executives
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies in UX and product design
- Optimize design workflows and tools for team efficiency
- Support hiring and onboarding of new design talent
