Responsibilities
- Ensure production processes adhere to legal, safety, engineering, customer, and internal standards.
- Lead design validation, coordinate production line setup, and manage pre-acceptance and release activities.
- Review new product layouts for manufacturability and provide technical feedback.
- Maintain key performance indicators including equipment utilization, first-pass yield, and scrap rates.
- Identify and eliminate recurring production issues.
- Enhance productivity by minimizing downtime and improving cycle time efficiency.
- Resolve internal and customer-reported defects using structured problem-solving methods like A3PSS and PDCA.
- Oversee the design and procurement of necessary tooling and equipment.
- Establish process parameters and develop corresponding machine programs.
- Prepare, execute, and document technical readiness for new product introductions and engineering change requests.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting for machine downtime and develop strategies for improved uptime.
- Represent the team in internal and external technical discussions and meetings.
- Configure thermal profiles for both RoHS and non-RoHS compliant products.
- Drive ongoing process enhancements through systematic improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on PFMEA and control plan optimization.
- Adopt and implement best practices identified through internal and external benchmarking.
- Transform raw operational data into actionable insights through analysis and visualization.
- Exchange technical knowledge with global peers on maintenance challenges and solutions.
- Lead efforts in benchmarking, localization of components, and extending tool lifespan.
- Support ergonomic, environmental, and workplace safety improvements.
- Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities across the process.
