Responsibilities
- Verifies job specifications and configures the press setup accordingly before each print run
- Checks fountain solution levels, inking systems, paper rolls, and reel-related components for proper function
- Maintains accurate stock levels of paper inventory
- Documents paper usage and waste quantities on statistical process control reports
- Unwraps, mounts, and prepares paper rolls for splicing operations
- Monitors paper feed performance during production to prevent disruptions
- Installs and initiates new paper rolls as needed during operations
- Collaborates with press operators and support staff on routine press maintenance tasks
- Supports maintenance technicians in diagnosing and repairing press equipment issues
- May contribute to initial press setup activities during make-ready phases
- Adjusts ink, solvent, and varnish mixtures as needed to meet color standards based on site requirements
- Follows and supports adherence to all safety protocols, including hazardous waste handling, lockout-tagout procedures, and protective equipment use
- Performs additional related tasks as assigned
- Complies with documented processes outlined in the ISO Quality Manual as required of all Solution Delivery staff
