Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary product authority and peer leader for the Partner Platform, driving alignment across product teams and setting standards for excellence.
- Own the end-to-end strategy, delivery, continuous improvement, and pace of learning for core platform components.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define long-term vision and break it into actionable problems and deliverable scope.
- Guide and mentor fellow Technical Product Owners to strengthen product practices and ensure unified execution across the platform.
- Orchestrate a continuous cycle of discovery, definition, development, release, measurement, and iteration across teams.
- Evaluate technical designs, assess tradeoffs and constraints, and anticipate impacts on timelines and system performance without leading implementation.
- Apply hands-on experience in cloud environments and knowledge of channel, reseller, and partner business models.
- Build deep understanding of partner operations including billing, margin management, customer support, and service delivery workflows.
- Use direct partner feedback and operational data to uncover inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for platform enhancement.
- Demonstrate expertise in cloud billing systems, marketplace programs, margin structures, and partner incentive models across major cloud providers.
- Shape platform features that simplify multi-cloud billing aggregation for partners.
- Design solutions that manage complexity in partner margin and discounting frameworks.
- Develop capabilities to streamline customer invoicing and revenue operations.
- Enable clear visibility into usage and cost reporting for partner environments.
- Improve workflows related to marketplace listings and private offer management.
- Conduct regular outreach to key partners, aiming for 3–5 conversations weekly, to validate concepts and refine product direction.
- Engage with executives at MSPs, SIs, and resellers to understand their operational challenges and business models.
- Communicate product vision and decisions clearly, incorporating feedback and explaining rationale to build trust and alignment.
- Work closely with engineering leadership through daily collaboration, making timely and practical decisions within technical constraints.
- Partner with engineering on delivery planning, sequencing, and technical tradeoffs to preserve product intent through implementation.
- Ensure consistency across user experience, APIs, data models, and operational behavior to support high reliability and scalability.
- Define success metrics for the platform, including partner adoption, onboarding speed, billing accuracy, workflow completion, and retention.
- Implement measurement systems to capture insights from releases and inform future prioritization.
- Design platform capabilities that support real-world partner needs such as billing precision, financial reconciliation, and audit compliance.
