doitintl is hiring a Principal Technical Product Owner - DoiT Partner Platform

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary product leader and central point of alignment for the Partner Platform, guiding multiple product teams and setting standards for product quality and execution.
  • Own the end-to-end strategy, delivery, continuous improvement, and speed of learning for core platform components.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define long-term vision and convert strategic goals into actionable problems and deliverable scope.
  • Lead and mentor other Technical Product Owners to strengthen product practices and ensure unified progress across the platform.
  • Orchestrate the full product lifecycle loop: discovery, definition, development, release, measurement, and iteration.
  • Evaluate technical designs and assess complex system tradeoffs and constraints, understanding implications on timelines and behavior without leading implementation.
  • Apply hands-on experience in cloud environments and knowledge of partner, reseller, and channel business models.
  • Gain deep insight into partner workflows including billing operations, margin tracking, customer management, support, and service delivery.
  • Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and strategic opportunities through direct engagement with partners and operational data.
  • Possess strong knowledge of cloud billing structures, marketplace programs, margin frameworks, and partner incentive models across major cloud providers.
  • Shape sophisticated platform features that simplify complexity in areas such as multi-cloud cost aggregation, margin and discount logic, customer invoicing, cost visibility, and marketplace offer management.
  • Conduct regular outreach to key partners, aiming for 3–5 conversations weekly, to validate concepts and refine workflows.
  • Engage with executive teams at MSPs, SIs, and resellers to understand their operational models and business needs.
  • Communicate transparently and persuasively: share early ideas, welcome feedback, integrate input into decisions, and clearly explain reasoning to build alignment.
  • Function as a key leader collaborating closely with engineering leadership—actively involved in daily coordination, decisive, and realistic about limitations.
  • Work with engineering leads to sequence work, assess technical compromises, and plan delivery while preserving product intent.
  • Ensure consistency across user experience, APIs, data models, and operational behavior to meet high reliability and scalability standards for partners.
  • Define success metrics for the platform, including partner adoption, onboarding speed, billing accuracy, workflow completion, retention, system reliability, and partner-reported outcomes.
  • Establish measurable releases and feedback mechanisms to inform future prioritization based on real-world insights.
  • Design platform capabilities that reflect the real-world operational demands of partners, including financial accuracy, reconciliation, and audit readiness.
