About the Role

The Principal Software Engineer, User Management will lead the design, development, and implementation of user management systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the systems are scalable, secure, and performant. The engineer will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall architecture of the user management platform.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and performant user management systems.
  • Lead the architecture and implementation of user management features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
  • Improve existing systems and processes.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide support as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of the overall architecture of the user management platform.
  • Work with the team to ensure that the systems meet the needs of the users.
  • Ensure that the systems are compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other engineers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in user management.
  • Collaborate with the product team to define the roadmap for user management features.
  • Work with the security team to ensure that the systems are secure.
  • Contribute to the development of the user management documentation.
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new engineers.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team.
  • Work with the operations team to ensure that the systems are reliable and available.
  • Contribute to the development of the user management testing strategy.
  • Participate in the development of the user management deployment strategy.
  • Work with the data team to ensure that the systems are integrated with the data platform.
  • Contribute to the development of the user management monitoring and alerting strategy.
  • Participate in the development of the user management incident response strategy.
