Creative Chaos is hiring a Principal Software Engineer - .Net to architect and develop critical server applications and Restful APIs. In this lead role, you will be responsible for the functionality, security, and performance of our systems while guiding and mentoring a team of software engineers.

What You'll Do

Lead a team of software engineers.
Mentor team members through training and individual guidance.
Analyze business requirements and estimate assigned tasks.
Write clean code and comprehensive unit tests.
Collaborate with other team members and communicate directly with clients.
Tune code for enhanced security and performance.
Maintain systems by diagnosing and fixing existing issues.
Update issue tracking software and provide regular status updates.
Control versions of your code using industry-standard tools.
Research new technologies and upgrade your skills and knowledge.
Evaluate candidates for open positions.

What We're Looking For

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
6-8 years of professional industry experience in a related field.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft technologies, tools, and platforms.
Knowledge of .Net Core, ASP.Net MVC, and Web API.
Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
Proven experience in writing backend components and Restful APIs.
Understanding of security standards and compliances.
Experience with relational and schemaless databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
Ability to create database structures to support required functionality.
Experience with writing unit tests and ensuring a minimum of 90% test coverage.
Knowledge of and experience with Github, JIRA and other collaboration tools.
Understanding of fundamental software design concepts and principles.
Basic understanding of front-end technologies.
