Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design of enterprise-grade software systems
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical roadmaps
- Drive best practices in code quality, security, and system reliability
- Mentor senior and junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to improve system performance
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex software initiatives
- Ensure alignment with scalability, maintainability, and operational excellence
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues
- Participate in cross-functional planning and technical decision-making
- Champion engineering standards and development methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of software development experience
- Proven experience in designing and deploying large-scale distributed systems
- Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Demonstrated leadership in technical architecture and system design
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in agile environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Experience in microservices architecture and API design
- Background in data-intensive applications or real-time systems
- Prior success in technical leadership or principal engineer roles
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
