Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design of large, distributed backend systems and make key decisions on infrastructure and design patterns.
- Shape technical direction for core components and features in collaboration with engineering leaders, product teams, and stakeholders.
- Take end-to-end ownership of major feature development, from concept and prototyping to deployment and testing.
- Promote high engineering standards through code and design reviews, advocating for clean code, test-driven development, and mature DevOps practices.
- Mentor engineers across experience levels, supporting technical growth and adoption of best practices.
- Establish testing strategies, ensure robust API test automation, and enforce security standards across the development lifecycle.
- Identify performance issues and lead efforts to enhance system scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
- Assess and propose new tools, frameworks, and technologies to maintain platform innovation and performance.
