Responsibilities
- Responsible for the growth and leadership of Product Owners, project resources, and functional areas across the organization.
- Provide leadership in an agile environment and work across multiple business and technical units to drive overall project and portfolio success.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization, strive for cross-departmental partnerships to foster innovation, and work to support the credit union’s strategic goals.
- Direct and coordinate deliverables consistent with strategic goals and the prioritization of those goals within the credit union.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or 10 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- 5 years of leadership experience on a technical team, and at least 3 years of experience as an agile product owner for complex, cross - functional agile projects.
- Expert understanding of software development life cycle models across both agile and traditional methodologies.
- Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality and possess a high level of emotional intelligence to ensure a successful partnership across all levels of the organization.
- One or more related certifications such as Project Management Professions (PMP), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Lean Six Sigma, SAFe Agilist (SA)
- Computer knowledge utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
