Responsibilities
- Set and advance the design direction for a major product domain in close partnership with product and engineering leaders.
- Guide and oversee design efforts across multiple teams, ensuring excellence in craft, system architecture, and implementation.
- Lead high-impact, complex initiatives that redefine product opportunities and deliver measurable customer and business value.
- Develop and refine core design systems, patterns, and architectures to promote consistency, scalability, and quality.
- Amplify team effectiveness by mentoring designers and elevating design execution over time.
- Collaborate with senior product and engineering stakeholders to shape product strategy and roadmap priorities.
- Identify inefficiencies in collaboration, execution, or quality and support teams in improving workflows.
- Stay informed on industry advancements, including AI, to inform and elevate product experience standards.
- Communicate strategic design vision and tradeoffs clearly across organizational levels through concise written documentation.
