Responsibilities
- Lead negotiations on pricing, long-term agreements, capacity terms, price adjustments, and payment conditions for MLCC, inductors, and embedded substrates.
- Develop and manage supplier strategies for MLCC, inductor, and embedded substrate components, guiding supplier selection and volume allocation decisions.
- Implement cost reduction programs using analytical methods such as cost breakdowns, should-cost models, and regional sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product Teams to align component availability with new product introduction, volume ramp-up, and lifecycle transitions.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply by managing capacity forecasts, allocation plans, and long-term supply commitments with critical suppliers.
- Evaluate and address supply chain risks, including production limitations, geopolitical factors, cost fluctuations, and overreliance on specific suppliers in the passive components sector.
- Manage contract lifecycle for master service agreements, NDAs, pricing structures, and commercial terms to support corporate objectives.
- Oversee supplier performance through regular assessments, KPI monitoring, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Manage escalation and resolution of urgent issues involving quality defects, delivery delays, capacity shortages, and commercial disagreements.
- Serve as the primary strategic liaison between internal departments (Engineering, Product, Supply Chain, Finance) and key component suppliers to align on technology roadmaps, cost targets, and operational execution.

English fluency is mandatory; knowledge of Japanese is advantageous.
