Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Principal Fullstack Engineer to lead the development of a product focused on data analytics and AI for the automotive sector. You will drive technical strategy and hands-on development within a dynamic software environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and development of frontend and backend web applications using Typescript, React, and Node.js.
- Develop visually appealing user interfaces and robust backend APIs with limited UI specifications.
- Manage and mentor a team of 2-3 developers, fostering collaboration and high-quality delivery.
- Coordinate directly with the CTO to align project goals and technical strategies.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability by using modern development practices and tools.
- Drive project execution within a healthy, team-oriented environment.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
- Extensive expertise in Typescript (minimum four years) and solid experience with ReactJS and NodeJS.
- Proven leadership skills with a hands-on approach to team collaboration and project delivery.
- Strong communication skills, able to clearly explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently within a remote setup.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
