Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of real-time, scalable platforms for trading and market data in global liquid markets.
- Collaborate with product, business, and engineering teams to shape solutions that prioritize performance, reliability, security, and long-term maintainability.
- Act as the primary technical decision-maker within the team, guiding architectural direction and ensuring consistency with broader technology strategies.
- Create modular, maintainable system designs for low-latency, event-based, and API-centric applications used in institutional trading.
- Integrate modern development practices such as continuous integration and delivery, test automation, monitoring, and ethical AI use across the development lifecycle.
- Conduct technical reviews, develop clear design documentation, and communicate architectural choices to diverse audiences.
- Work with cross-functional and enterprise teams to ensure cohesive, enterprise-aligned solutions that avoid isolated optimizations.
- Support the growth of engineering talent through active mentoring, code reviews, pair programming, and technical coaching.
