Lola Blankets is hiring a Principal Full Stack Engineer to be a visionary, hands-on leader on our Steer platform. You will be the first US-based engineer dedicated to this product, playing a key role in architecting and deploying robust, scalable, and secure applications that define the future of the auto repair industry.
What You'll Do
- Focus on optimizing core CRM components, specifically how we ingest and process data to revolutionize automation tools.
- Pivot to work on new or existing integrations based on evolving business needs.
- Partner closely with Product to understand user pain points and ensure every line of code adds tangible value.
- Architect reusable full stack components and services to maintain platform performance at scale.
- Champion best practices in security, test automation, and maintainability, conducting deep-dive code reviews.
- Influence CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and IaC practices for developer experience and operational reliability.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of professional experience building complex, web-based SaaS products.
- Hands-on experience working with LLMs and prompt engineering.
- Proficiency with both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases, including schema design and query optimization.
- A track record of taking full accountability for projects and a passion for solving complex problems in fast-paced environments.
- The ability to translate complex technical concepts into product outcomes and collaborate effectively with leadership.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with our current stack: .NET, Node.js (TypeScript), and React.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Previous experience as a founding engineer or in an early-stage startup environment.
